SperrApp

The Sperr-App is a service provided by SERVODATA GmbH, the operator of the emergency lock 116 116, allowing users to block debit cards, credit cards, and electronic access using their smartphones. This service can be used for institutions participating in the emergency lock and granting access through this application.

Features:

• Direct Blocking: Users can transmit girocard data directly to the respective blocking institution and initiate the block. For credit cards, online/telebanking, or other media, a call to the emergency lock 116 116 is required.
• Secure Data Storage: All blockable media can be stored highly encrypted in the data safe. During storage, a check is automatically made via the bank code to determine if the girocard can be blocked directly through the data service. The IBAN, crucial as a bank identifier within the Eurozone, can also be stored in the data safe.
• Blocking from Data Safe: Data from the data safe can be used in case of a lock to either automatically initiate the girocard blockage or contact the toll-free emergency lock 116 116. The data safe is equipped with a highly secure encryption system.
• Verification Through Logs: All blocking actions with the app can be reviewed at any time in a log file.
